Here We Go Again..... page three

I didn't know what to do with him now. Had no other options but for him to stay home while we worked. I didn't like this idea but the options were not available.

We had gotten into argument that evening with Bobby. He didn't want to do anything that was expected of him. Simple things like getting his dirty clothes together so they could be taken to the Laundromat.  I would no sooner get back from doing laundry and he would be telling me that he didn't have anything clean to wear. This and several other things would always end in arguments.

When we saw the case worker, she didn't have any suggestions on getting him into school. But the proceeded to tell me that I would held responsible for his truancy. I had enough of this lady telling me that nobody but me was responsible for things Bobby did wrong. That he being a child had no concept of what he was doing. I think I flipped a gasket at that moment. I told her that she had been absolutely no help to us or Bobby.  She wasn't doing her job and that she didn't have the first clue as to how to do her job and that I wanted a different case worker for Bobby. About this time the supervisor showed up in the doorway.  And asked if there was a problem. The case worker said no just a minor disagreement. I promptly told her that I still thought she didn't know how to do her job and that she had done nothing during the time we had been seeing her except make excuses for Bobby and blame me for everything that had gone wrong. I went on to tell the supervisor that this lady wasn't fit to do her job if she thought every 14 year old kid didn't know right from wrong. The supervisortold me that they would transfer him to another case worker just as soon as they could. I picked up my purse and took Bobby by the arm and walked out of the office.
