Well, it showed positive.
Candy liked to knocked me off the end of the bed. She started bouncing
up and down and screeching like I don't know what. I couldn't help but
get excited over it too. She was contagious. Next thing we know Bobby
is knocking on the bedroom door, wanting to know what all the hollering
and noise was about. We told him it was none of his business we were just
talking and got carried away. I thought Terry is going to be blown away
with this news.
I thought about waiting until
Christmas to tell him, it was only about two weeks away. But when he called
later that night, I couldn't keep it a secret. I told him that he was going
to be a Daddy. He asked me to repeat what I had said. And I did.
Then for about five minutes all he could say was "I'll be damned".
The the questions started,
When-Where-How. And I told him that if he didn't know the answers to those
questions then we needed to have a long long talk. He laughed. I
told him that I would make a appointment and confirm that the home test
was correct.
Well the test was right. Doctor
said that everything seemed to be okay. And that we were due on August
26, 1997.
In March, we were told by the
manager of the trailer park that we were living in that because of the
trouble with Bobby and having the police there so much that our lease wouldn't
be renewed. I thought great, not only do we have to find another place,
I still needed another car. The problems with Bobby and me expecting.
What a great year this was turning out to be.
After talking to Candy, she
offered for us to move in with her. She had a three bedroom house
and we could stay as long as we needed. So we set things in motion for
another move.
